In addition to you using your seat belt -- your pet should ALWAYS be secured in your vehicle also. This provides safety to both you and your pet. Securing your pet with a choice of Pet Car Riding Seat-Booster Seats or a choice of a Pet Car Riding Safety Harness with an additional Pet Car Seat Cover available to protect your car seats -- will help keep your pet inside the car in case of an accident or rollover. For those who use Golf Carts on a regular basis around your property, in a Campground or a Gated Community, please consider securing your smaller pets with the Golf Cart Car Seat.
 
We have heard too many stories, including from families and friends, where pets were lost from flying through the car and hitting something hard, just from a quick stop to prevent an accident. They died from internal injuries after hitting a door or the dashboard. We just recently heard about a Dog Show Competitor who lost her larger dog, in a rollover, even though he was in a crate. The crate itself wasn't securely fastened in a pick-up bed with a topper. The truck rolled, the topper was pulled off & the topper & crate fell off an overpass to the road below. Fortunately, the smaller animals that were secured to seatbelts inside with a Safety Harness were shaken, but unhurt. So prevent any pet loss tragedy by securing everyone and everything when traveling anywhere.
